Some Dang Cute Photos

Here are some other really cute photos! Just for fun!

Look at these kids they don't get cuter than that!

Hey Dominic... wink! This is what you get!

Playing outside!

Sister!

So I hate photos of me but this one turned out alright!

My Alyssa is always beautiful.

And she's such a daddy's girl!

Thanksgiving Point and the Caballos! (Horses)

So, when ever we drive anywhere. All I hear is, "Caballos, Caballos." We even have to take special detours so Dominic can say goodbye to the Caballos every time we leave anywhere. So tonight we decided to head over to Thanksgiving point to let Dominic, Alyssa and Koya, ( Alaina and Aaron's little girl ), see the animals. It was fun he had a blast. Koya was a little scared of the horses. Well terrified actually! It was hilarious. We saw baby sheep, cows, goats and chickens. Then walked through a little bit of the gardens and ate some dinner.

This is how Koya rode the horse! Poor thing was terrified!

My Ballerina!

Alyssa had her dance recital today. She danced to the song, "Fuss." She had so much fun getting all her hair and makeup done. She loves to preform and is an excellent dancer. She wasn't even nervous or scared to go on stage. Center Stage is a great studio and I am really impressed with her teacher Kim Delgrosso. She does a great job with the little girls.

Waiting for the show!

On stage..

After with Handsomist, Mom and Dad.

Stephenie Meyer's Signing

When The Host was released Valerie and I went down to Borders in Provo and stood in line at 7:30 am for tickets. We got our tickets and signed up with Twilight Moms to join there after party. Because, we did that we got into the signing early and got row 4 seats! She answered questions about The Host and a few about Twilight. She was really down to earth and super personal. She made a point to talk to and say hi to everyone in line that came through to get there books signed! They estimated it would take her till midnight to get all 1000 people through the line ( plus a few staff.)
We got through the line around 8:30 and then went to the after party. Where we met Stephenie's sister and cousin Melanie, who was the main character in The Host. We also got to meet some other cool Twilight Moms and a few from the Lexicon including Alphie and a few others. I even got to meet Alaina's sister Tara's ward Chorister who is pretty much an insane and hiliarious yoga teacher. Who stood on her head in front of The Host sign to get her picture taken!
Yes, we are nerd groupies and totally ok with it!

I guess I should at least put up what I thought of The Host!

I loved the Twilight Series and I didn't think I would like, The Host, because I don't read Sci Fi. Well, it's pretty much what life would be like after the Bodysnatchers had taken over. One person explained it by saying,

"The Host isn’t really about saving the planet from alien invaders; it is a story about what it is to be human, about identity and about individualism. Most of all The Host is a story about the nature of love. Romantic love, love of family, love of friends."

It was a little hard for me to get into at first but once you get passed those first 50 pages it sucks you in and you fall in love with the characters. It's sci fi for those of us who don't read sci fi.

Oatmeal Bath!

Dominic is in this I have to do everything myself stage. So I gave him a spoon and his oatmeal. Went in the laundry room and started folding laundry. I came back in and found him putting in his hair. Well this was after he had painted the walls, dumped the bowl on the floor and flipped it where ever he could. What a mess!!
