Briella 2 weeks

Briella has been such a good baby. Unless her stomach is hurting her. We had issues the first week with her formula. I took her into the Dr and he switched her to a different brand. After two days she has been a text book baby. Eating 2oz every 3 hours and going in two 4 hour stretches at night. She was 6lbs 5oz at 1 week and at her two week check she was 6lbs 13oz and 19 inches long.
She loves to get her arms out of the blanket and if she manages i'll find her sleeping like this...

Alyssa loves having a little sister. She carries her around the house and is always taking care of her. She's such a good big sister.

Briella's cord fell off today. So she had her first bath! She loved the water and slept through most of it. Until we got you out....

Going Home!

We came home from the hospital Friday, September 18th. Briella weighed 6lbs 6oz and the Dr said she was super healthy. No sign of Jaundice.

She's Here!!

Briella Jean Padilla! Born: September 15, 2009 at 12:41 pm. She was 6lbs 13 oz and 18 1/2 inches long.

Welcome Little One.

We had so many family and friend come visit to see our baby girl! I didn't get pictures of everyone. Thank you so much to everyone who came, called to wish us well. We have the best family and friends!

Dominic was so excited to see Briella. Dominic kept saying,"She's cute Mom." He also calls her, "my baby." He tells everyone about his baby sister and loves her to death.


Alyssa got her baby sister! Briella looks a lot like Alyssa just darker. I have two beautiful girls!

Dominic's 1st Day of Preschool

Dominic started preschool today at the Tree House Preschool in Pleasant Grove. He goes Tuesday and Thursday from 12:45-2:45. His teacher is Miss Nicole. He loved it. We got him a Transformers backpack and he won't leave the house with out it and Bumblebee inside. We had to make a collage for his first day of school. It has all the things he likes on it, Spiderman, Transformers, sports, cars, and pictures of his family. He had a great first day and can't wait to go back!
